General Description:
The Root Chakra is also considered as the First Chakra. It is our connection to the earth and is considered as our foundation to this physical existence. Our feelings of safety and security are related to this chakra. This chakra is the most instinctual of all chakras and is our survival center. Our fight or flight response is initiated from it. The Root Chakra also serves to draw energy from natural sources, then helps transform it into life energy. This life energy is then supplied to our body, soul, and spirit.
