General Description:
The sixth Chakra is our Third Eye Chakra, which is also known as the Brow Chakra. The functioning of this chakra is thought to reside in our pineal gland, which is in the middle of our brain. The pineal gland is in control of regulating our biorhythms, which are our sleeping and waking patterns. This chakra provides the energy of our concentration, intuition, and foresight. New levels of perception can achieved and our consciousness can be projected into higher dimensional planes. This chakra gives us illumination as well as enlightenment and access to mystical states. It can manifest telepathy, telekinesis, and other psychic abilities. The realm of spirits and spiritual phenomenon are often associated with this chakra also.
