The Throat Chakra is our fifth energy center. It is usually associated with communication and expression. This chakra connects emotions and reason. It is also associated with recognition and comprehension of vocal words as well as body language. This chakra is related to the element of sounds and vocalizations. Our throat produces sounds that are vibrated into the air and that can also be felt in our bones or body. Our tone of voice exposes our emotions. This chakra governs our fluent clarity of mind and plays an important role in our dreams or lucid dreaming.
